This is the Muslims De Luxe 25k, a short scale electric guitar made by the Muslims cooperative in Markneukirchen in the German Democratic Republic. This area had a long history of skilled luthiers and at one time the town boasted the highest concentration of instrument makers in the world. Fun fact, the Christian Frederick Martin of Martin guitars hails from this region.

This guitar features 2 oversized single coil pickups, a varitone style knob, and a short scale neck making it one of my more unique guitars in my collection. Playing through my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, my Mooer Hornet amp on the Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier setting, & also splitting a clean signal through my Digitech Whammy V one octave down to give a bit of low end.

Going for some David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Robert Smith (The Cure), Josh Homme (Queens of The Stone Age), Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath) type vibes on this one.
